The foundations of Home Sweet Home:

In a world that moves so quickly, with so many stresses and demands, children need a place where they feel they are safe, loved, trusted and respected. More than ever they need to have the experience of playing outside, climbing a tree, building a fort, playing pirates and searching for bugs. They must have the opportunity to express themselves through dramatic play, arts and crafts, and block building. And when they are tired, be able to curl up in a loving teachers lap to read their favorite book.

Research has shown that relationship-based care and continuity of care equal high-quality care. There is a direct link between the quality of care and improved developmental outcomes. Relationships are critical for positive healthy development and help provide a framework for exploration and future learning.

Our team has a combined 50 years of caring for children. We are all committed to connecting with the heart of each child and watch them grow, thrive and PLAY! We are a family here. We have celebrated high school graduations, college graduations, marriages and new babies with many of our past families.

In fact, many of the babies that were nurtured here, are now bringing their babies back to be loved on . . . I can't think of a better compliment!

Our goal is to love, support and nurture these wonderful children in our care, to help them become the best people they can be.
